While most of us spent the holidays farting turkey, skulling port, and watching the grandparents dribble, this bright young man spent it doing something that will serve him well for the rest of his life.
Well, for however long this video’s popular for anyway. And what great feat did he undertake? Why nothing less than playing the Tetris theme on The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time?. Kudos to this young geek.
Forget playing Pokémon on the computer, that is so passe. It’s all about using real animals, so go out and find yourself a blue whale, no bitching about them being hard to find due to extinction, just find one!
Or failing that, maybe just use your pet dog instead. Then go out there and dog butt your enemy’s face. It will open up a whole new world. For the dog anyway.

Will you look at this, a video that combines two cool things — video games and street art. They’ve leapt on the zeitgeist, namely Banksy-style stencils and NES nostalgia, and swung it about their heads until it’s flown off into space.
But *serious face* there is something to be learned here. And that is, never stamp on a stranger’s painting or you will be crushed under fist of a giant animated pixel-stencil. Be warned.

Not literally shit, that would be pretty gross, but things like an Xbox exploding into fragments to symbolise the death of console gaming or some such semantic craziness. Anyway, kudos to the photographer Dan Saelinger, it’s short but so very, very sweet.
I love stuff like this, it’s another of those meaningful emotional indie games that have minimal gaming elements but the propensity to make you cry like a baby (if you’re so inclined).
Anyway, this one has you saving a bunch of apple picking Mexicans from Nazis! The music will lull you into a feeling that it is essential that you play this for the rest of your life!
Get ready to go back to a time before even old skool was around! Finally, a video game that encapsulates the sheer joy that can be had with those ball bearing maze toys that even your grandad thinks are retro.
Now if someone could only make a digital version of the hoop & stick game…
It can be confusing to describe a balloon race across the internet. And that’s not because it’s a confusing game, it’s just because it’s a balloon race. Across the internet.
The race course that all the balloons fly through is made up of loads and loads of websites. Each website has the race course floating over the top of it. It’s very easy to play, so we recommend you get stuck in and enjoy!
