If you’ve ever used facebook you will immediately recognize at least one of his gripes, whether it’s the constant mafia wars requests or the cheesy profile pics.
Fun. – We’re Not Young (Yahoo! Parody)
Fun.’s “We Are Young” caught the minds of some people, but those lyrics don’t resonate for the oldies whose years are beyond 30. To fix this singer-songwriters Tommy Fields and Nikki Boyer created this version.
“This, my fellow? Gen-Xers, is our current anthem,” writes bladerunner556 on YouTube, where “We Aren’t Young” counts more than 1.3 million views in less than 48 hours. What say you, 30-somethings?
Squarepusher – “Dark Steering”
“Dark Steering” is a half cut-time, half double-time banger that delivers all the melody and aggression Squarepusher promised for his new album.
The video captures the essence of his current live show, zooming in and out on his LED-laden mask and backdrop as he plays the song. The light show is in full effect, spilling geometric shapes to the rhythm, and becoming an oversaturated mess.
