It’s always good to get the band back together. Here we have HP Scanjet 3C as the vocals, Amiga 600 Bass on left audio output and guitar on right audio output, with each audio channel feeding into an oscilloscope.
Xylophone, plus two harddrives as the drums and cymbal, both controlled by an PIC16F84A mircocontroller. Aaaand hit it!
This Video was achived by “stacking” image sequences provided by NASA from the Crew at International Space Station. These Stacks create the Star Trails, but furthermore make interesting patterns visible.
Don’t worry though, you don’t have to be an astronomy boffin to enjoy it. Just relax and veg out watching the stars whiz past. Looks like something out of TRON.

The pilot episode for Showtime’s edgy new Saturday morning cartoon. If there’s one thing Dexter loves it’s science! If there’s a second thing, it’s blood.
I know this is just a spoof, but I think it’s about time someone made a kids cartoon that was a little more edgy. Maybe a cartoon serial killer is the way to go?

If you’re old enough to remember The lackluster D&D wannabe virtual reality show Knightmare, You’ve probably romanticised it a bit and forgotten just how terrible it was.
Sure the graphics were incredible, but that doesn’t detrat from the weak-ass puzzles, storylines and godawful acting. This is so close to the actual show that you’d be forgiven for thinking it was.
This is a true test of someone’s hipster ability, just like the magical sword Excalibur could be pulled from the ground only by the true king, so too will this glued iPhone 5 only be able to be lifted by the truest of hipsters.
But, sadly or happily for Amsterdam, it looks like there isn’t enough hipsters in town because no one manages to lift this device from its position. Must try harder.
